Raise your Resolve by 1 for every 2m spent, or add an automatic success per 2m spent.

Ignore a single point of penalty from wounds, deprivation, or poison.

Essence 1

Frozen Heart Prana

Cost: 4m; Mins: Integrity 3, Essence 1

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Prerequisite Charms: None

Local Dragon-Blooded uses FACTS and LOGIC to resist influence.

You may use Intelligence instead of Wits to calculate your Resolve for a single instant.

Your opponent must calculate their Appearance bonus against the highest of your Intelligence, Lore, or Resolve.


Slippery Thoughts Technique

Cost: 4m; Mins: Integrity 3, Essence 1

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Prerequisite Charms: None

Lies come easy to you, and your face is as unmoved as the deep sea.

You may use Manipulation instead of Wits to calculate your Resolve for a single instant.

Alternatively, you may use your Manipulation-based Resolve instead of your Guile whenever you are called to use your Guile.


Oath of the Ten Thousand Dragons

Cost: 1wp; Mins: Integrity 2, Essence 1

Type: Simple; Duration: Indefinite

Keywords: Earth, Restriction (1/story arc)

Prerequisite Charms: None

Once the course is set, the boulder will roll and the avalanche cannot be stopped.

Swear an oath to a character you hold a Tie of loyalty toward or to complete a service for that person. You get +2 Resolve to resist any and all influence that would stray you from your course or decay your loyalty to that person.

RESET – You can only reset this Charm by completing your Oath or by having the person who holds it dismiss your burden. Then you can use this Charm again starting with the next story arc.

Essence 2

Heart-Hardening Meditation

Cost: 6,; Mins: Integrity 2, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Prerequisite Charms: None

The mountain sheds no tears for those that die on its peaks.

Get +1 Resolve to resist any Inspire action or any influence that leverages an emotional Intimacy.

EARTH AURA – Gain +1 non-Charm bonus Resolve instead.


Inviolate Dragon Spirit

Cost: 1m, 1wp; Mins: Integrity 3, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Prerequisite Charms: Heart-Hardening Meditation

You are a mountain: unassailable, unshaking, and immobile.

In a decision point, you may use the same Intimacy that you used to boost your Resolve.


Unquenchable Battle-Passion

Cost: 5m; Mins: Integrity 4, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Prerequisite Charms: Inviolate Dragon Spirit

The roaring wildfire does not know how to stop; nor do you know how to calm your lust for violence.

If you are subject to social influence to try and calm you down or refrain from hostilities, you may Inspire yourself with an emotion for the scene. You can leverage that emotion as a Major Intimacy to retain your path of violence.

If the social influence still succeeds and you spend Willpower to resist it, you gain (Essence) Initiative for each Willpower you spend.


Chaos-Warding Prana

Cost: 5m, 1wp; Mins: Integrity 3, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: (Essence) hours

Prerequisite Charms: None

You embody the stability of the Pole of Earth.

Become immune to all transformation or addiction caused by Wyld exposure, or any other similar effect that warps the body and mind. Your items are likewise protected. This does not protect against deliberate shaping magic.


Ten Thousand Dragons Fight As One

Cost: 5m; Mins: Integrity 4, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: Instant

Keywords: Balanced, Earth, Restriction (1/scene)

Prerequisite Charms: Oath of Ten Thousand Dragons

In the fires of conflict, your soul rings with a clear note like a crystal bell. The bonds of the Dragon’s Blood are stronger than any others – and you are called to serve together.

Whenever you see another Dragon-Blood in danger, you may activate this Charm. You immediately gain a Tie of loyalty and protection toward him, or if you already have one, you may strenghten it one step instantly. For the rest of the scene, that Tie benefits as if you had used Oath of Ten Thousand Dragons to swear an oath to assist him. You add (Intimacy) non-Charm bonus dice to the first Join Battle or influence roll you make while pursuing this oath.


Wound Denying Dragon Faith

Cost: 2m, 1wp; Mins: Integrity 4, Essence 2

Type: Reflexive; Duration: One scene

Keywords: Earth

Prerequisite Charms: Ten Thousand Dragons Fight As One

The mountain does not yield to pain.

As long as you pursue an oath sworn with Oath of the Ten Thousand Dragons or Ten Thousand Dragons Fight as One, you ignore up to (Intimacy / 2, round down) points of wound penalty.

EARTH AURA – Ignore (Intimacy) points of wound penalty instead.
